Ingredients
- 5 tea bags – flavour as desired or:
- 10 Stevia Tablets or sugar, however many desired.
- Water
Alternate flavour options from garden to make 2 ltr of tea:
- 3 sticks of pineapple/fruit sage with leaves, 2 leaves of Cardamom (Crush to release flavour), Rind from 1/2 lemon or lime, now, after steeping process has cooled Squeeze juice out of lemon or lime, or
- 8 hibiscus flowers, Rind from 1/2 lemon or lime, now, after steeping process has cooled Squeeze juice out of lemon or lime or
- 3 sticks of any mint leaves, 2 leaves of lemon grass (Crush to release flavour), Rind from 1/2 lemon or lime, now, after steeping process has cooled Squeeze juice out of lemon or lime
Equipment
- 2ltr Jug for steeping (Steeping is the soaking in liquid of a solid so as to extract flavours)
- kettle to boil water
- 2ltr bottle
Method
- Boil a litre of water over 5 tea bags (or alternate flavours noted above) then add 10 stevia tablets or sugar as desired
- Let steep for 2 hours or until cold
- Remove tea bags then pour into 2 ltr plastic bottle adding water to make up the difference
- Add lime or lemon juice as desired
